The Akkaya property is located 1.5 kilometres north of the Pinargozu Mine on the Horzum Zinc Trend (HZT), a known northeast trending zinc mineralized belt of carbonate-dominated sedimentary rocks in Adana.
Multiphase mineralization resulted extraordinary high-grade Pinargozu deposit. Mineralisation formed from typical CRD processes. Along to Horzum Fault Zone trend at least 5 zinc-lead occurrences over 16km. Are there others? (better?).
In general, Cambrian aged carbonates host the mineralisation along to Horzum Fault Zone. There is a strong structural control over mineralization. Applying structural, stratigraphical and minerological learnings from Horzum and Pinargozu mines as exploration tools, Pasinex has a very good potential to find for more of same along to Horzum trend.
Akkaya lies on Horzum zinc trend, next to the Extraordinary high grade, direct shipping Pinargozu zinc mine. Only small part of the license has been Subject to Preliminary Exploration. Rest of the Akkaya license is open to detailed exploration work Similar Hydrothermal & Marble Alteration Exists Which Hosts Mineralization at Pinargozu.
A total of 3724 meters of surface diamond drilling in 16 holes has been completed in Akkaya license in 2018
